Aged Care Lead
Roshani is Torch’s Aged Care Lead. She brings a practical, informed and commercial lens to engaging with vulnerable segments of communities and designing service models that meet their special needs. By leveraging her background in finance and business strategy; as well as detailed knowledge of technology and aged care legislation, reforms and funding instruments; she has successfully supported Government and aged care providers across Australia to deliver informed reform agendas and business optimisation initiatives to drive improved consumer, community and viability outcomes.
This has included leading stakeholder engagements for the Commonwealth and various State Departments to drive insight into policy reform and support for industry; as well as delivering practical support to aged care providers across Australia to build strategic plans, improve workforce models, implement new technologies, and develop new models of care for supported/assisted living, group homes, respite; and wellbeing and reablement services.
Experience highlights
- Facilitated workshops nation-wide with aged care providers to assist rural and remote providers to understand aged care reforms and sectoral challenges.
- Led engagement with over 100 stakeholders in the development of the better practice home care package statement template for a government client.
- Assisted a large number of providers with a variety of operational improvement initiatives.
- Regularly assists aged care providers with grant funding and approved provider applications.
- Supported the executive leadership team of a national home care provider through strategic advisory support and pricing analysis to prepare for the Support at Home Reform.
- Worked with various aged care providers on the development of additional services models across their residential aged care portfolios.
- Led the development of the supply and demand assessment of all aged care and retirement living offerings for a government in Australia.
